ThermoReserve AB
A focused Swedish thermal-energy-storage company
ThermoReserve develops modular thermal-energy-storage products for commercial buildings, industry and local energy systems. Our initial focus is high-temperature TES, configured around the thermal duty of each application.
Purpose and direction
A focused mission today, with a broader thermal-storage vision
ThermoReserve is building from a defined starting point while developing a modular product architecture that can expand as technical and market evidence grows.
Develop practical modular thermal-storage products
To develop, validate and progressively commercialise modular thermal-energy-storage products that shift energy in time and deliver useful thermal energy when customers need it. Our current work focuses on high-temperature TES, product validation and reliable site interfaces.
Make thermal storage a practical flexibility layer
To make modular thermal storage a practical infrastructure layer for flexible heating and cooling across buildings, industry and local energy systems, with product pathways developed step by step as applications and evidence justify them.
ThermoReserve responsibility
A clear product boundary from storage core to site connection
ThermoReserve remains focused on the thermal-storage product itself, while wider site-level optimisation and multi-asset coordination can be handled separately.
Storage architecture & configuration
Thermal-storage architecture, containment, insulation and application-specific product configuration around temperature, power, capacity and duration.
Charging, heat transfer & product control
Thermal and electrical interfaces, heat delivery, sensing, monitoring, control and safety functions required for dependable operation.
Commissioning & product learning
Deployment preparation, commissioning support, measured validation and the development of repeatable manufacturing, supply and service pathways.
Where we are heading
One modular platform, developed toward multiple thermal applications
ThermoReserve begins with high-temperature heat storage and commercial-building validation. Broader applications are development pathways, not claims of current commercial availability.
Commercial buildings & real estate
The current validation pathway focuses on building heating, thermal load shifting and practical integration with real property-energy systems.
Current emphasis: high-temperature TES validation and repeatable building interfaces.
Industrial & process heat
Future product configurations can target industrial thermal duties, electrification, recoverable heat and applications with higher utilisation.
Development basis: suitable temperature, power, operating cycle and host-site requirements.
Local & district energy
Modular TES can later be evaluated in multi-building, campus and district-heating or cooling environments where thermal buffering creates system value.
Development basis: validated interfaces, suitable partners and system-scale use cases.
Cooling & cold storage
Over time, the modular architecture may extend toward lower-temperature storage media and configurations designed for cooling and cold-storage applications.
Current status: future development pathway, not part of the present commercial product offer.
